We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The owners were extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The cottage and garden had a nice feel to them, and the couple running the place were a big part of that. The cleanliness of the room was excellent, and the comfortable warm bed ensured a good night's sleep. The continental breakfast was enjoyable, with good coffee. The location was ideal, with convenient parking and easy transportation options. The staff, in general, were attentive and accommodating. highly recommended!

    Nothing to fault.

This place was one of our most positive experiences during our 12days trip from Czechia to Yorkshire and back.

We are sorry we could not stay longer

A fantastic find, the owners were extremely welcoming and friendly, and when they realised we were staying with our little boy (18 months) they offered us use of their own travel cot and set it up with blankets etc. The gardens are lovely and 2 dogs also friendly. A very enjoyable stay, highly recommended.

Spending Xmas in this homely and welcoming hotel was a delightful experience. We enjoyed the warm and cosy atmosphere of the place, which made us feel like we were in a home away from home. The secluded location was perfect for us, as we wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We appreciated the genuine personalities of the hosts, who were attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to make us comfortable during our stay.

Our only issue was with the room layout, which compromised our privacy a bit. , the bed itself was of poor quality, even though we thought the mattress was fine.

I recently had an absolutely amazing experience staying at this 4-star hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the friendly couple running the place. They went out of their way to make me feel right at home, and their hospitality was truly exceptional. The family room that I stayed in was perfect for my needs, with a separate bedroom and a beautiful garden view. The entire place was impeccably clean and well-maintained, giving off a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the comfortable bed, which provided a great night's sleep, and the lack of traffic noise was a pleasant bonus. Additionally, the continental breakfast offered was enjoyable, and the coffee was simply delicious.

In short, I highly recommend this hotel to families.

I arrived late, but still received a warm and friendly welcome. The accomodation was everything I could have asked for, and more.

the location was peaceful and offered beautiful nature settings for bike riding. the family suite provided a comfortable living room with a cozy fireplace. the continental breakfast was enjoyable, with freshly squeezed orange juice and good coffee.

The kitchen area in the lobby could be accessed by other guests, which affected the privacy when making a cup of tea in the morning.

The location, the welcome from Chris and Miles, the attention to detail, the extras such as fruit bowl, quality of toiletries. Having a separate sitting room as well as the bedroom, and it was so comfortable.

The parking is somewhat tight and tricky and the loose stones make it more so. The shower really needs a rubber mat and grab rail to make it safer. Apart from that there is nothing not to like.

Small drive, but we have a large car!
